To add a manual counter reading to an existing asset counter, go to the Railnova platform and click on "Manual readings".
Select the asset, then "Counter reading", then select the counter type.
You can type in the counter value you've read on your asset or use the suggested value. Don't forget to change the date if you enter a counter value from another day.
Once you have entered the value, click on "Create counter readings" to save your manual reading.
Frequently asked questions
If you enter a value that is lower than a previous reading, you will receive an error message. You must correct your entry before you can save it.
If you enter an incorrect value, please contact an administrator at your company who will be able to correct it.
If the system tells you that there is no component configured for this asset, a Railnova administrator from your company must follow the steps described in this article to create a component and one (or more) counter(s).
