An Operation group on Railfleet is a collection of operations that are linked to each other, for instance, all your motor maintenance operations. You can link these operation groups to the counter types you created earlier.
To set up your operation groups, head over to the “Maintenance” section on the admin home page and click on “Operation groups”
On the next page, click on the green “add operation group” button at the top of the page to create a new operation group.
A new form will open and you’ll be able to
- Give your operation group a name
- Select one of the available counter types
- Choose a parent operation if there is one
- Enter all the operations that should be part of the operation group, including the intervals, the tolerance if applicable, a time limit etc. Make sure that the operation is set to “active” for the maintenance plan to take it into account.
Once you’ve filled out the form, you can save the operation group using the blue "Save" button at the top of the page.
