The first step in the confirm diagnostics workflow is to be notified of abnormal behavior on your assets. Alerts are the perfect way to automate this process. 

In Railfleet you can easily set up notification rules to receive alerts via email, or to view them on the operational dashboard whenever abnormal behavior or unusually low levels are detected.

Once you've received an alert you can confirm it by analysing the data in comprehensive graphs in the Data inspector, or in a detailed data table on the Telematics Raw data page.

Finally, once the alert has been confirmed, you can create defect reports and plan interventions to prevent inline failures from happening.

In order to receive email alerts, you'll first need to set up notification rules. This way you can manage who will receive which alerts, and avoid spamming your colleagues and partners with irrelevant alerts.
